Well, after being shocked that a shop in Stafford flunked my car on Dec 30th, and only offered a $900 solution, I was forced to undertake a difficult journey to find a shop that would address the problem directly. This means not selling me a new Catalytic converter, etc. After giving a shop near me 10 days to offer some solution, I gave up and searched in F'burg. 22 miles away. Thank goodness I did. I was referred by another shop to Affordable and they understood my situation. At least Matthew did. Well, I now have a go to shop. Thanks to all.

Have used this repair shop numerous times in the last couple years because they have a great customer service due to Matthew and James. The repair and replacement work is spot on especially when it comes to general maintenance like brake jobs. I recommend using this shop. My last visits although seemed rushed. We had a tech there replace our alternator.

We were aware of check engine light and at the last couple times should of had them check for codes and do a full diagnostic. After replacing the alternator the car AC no longer works. Was told they needed to disconnect the AC line and recharge the AC system to remove alternator. After doing my research it's not necessary to do so to remove alternator in our car.

It was just easier and faster to do so. Took the car in for a diagnostic, the AC apparently wasn't something even considered checking. Appreciate the fast service but perferred them to take as much time as possible to make sure everything was working. It was my fault for not checking before leaving the shop. Was told there was a radiator leak although after receiving the car back all within a week the invoice showed there were no leaks and the car ranas designed. BE WARE OF THIS PLACE. My 20 year old daughter took her car there for a few minor things she wanted to have them check out and get an estimate for repair cost: left head light not working, squeaking brakes and one of the wiper washers wasn't spraying. They gave her the following charges for providing a diagnosis, not a repair, just the diagnosis: Diagnose lighting concern: 187.16, Brake system check: 65.00 and Diagnose wiper washer spray concern: 143.07 for a grand total of 423.86.

We took her car to Auto zone, bought a new light for 29.99, they installed it for her. Thanks Auto zone. We then asked Meineke to look at her brake pads for FREE, which were fine by the way. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!

After bringing my vehicle to be diagnosed be a technician I was told the cost of my repairs would be about 30% higher than two other shops in the area that gave me a quote on similar work. After I asked why the price was so high they simply told me that's the standard price. After getting my vehicle back and paying 1800$ for a new suspension, my car didn't perform any better.

The work performed on my car had no bearing on the cars performance, essentially wasting my time and money. I would highly recommend not going here, but if you have to it is a good idea to strong arm these guys, as that seems to be the only way they'll listen to you.

I would recommend Affordable Automotive Repair to anyone in need of car services. From start to finish, the customer service was excellent and genuine. James provided in detail the issues with my car and what was causing them. I was left with no questions at pick up and drove away knowing my car was in good hands. The work they did was great but it was alot more work then I expected but I guess I'm glad at the end they found alot that was unsafe. But I was always called by James before the work was done all in all it's done right James is a fair and honest guy he only does to your car what he would do to his own highly recommend this company

I rarely leave reviews except when I encounter exceptional service. This was definitely the case with James and his team at Affordable Automotive Repair. They took great care of my elderly parents' car and were very honest and earnest about what needed to be done. One of the issues I thought needed fixing, was the brakes. But James explained to me that the brakes were fine, and car setup was different so you had to squeeze them more than newer cars.

Not only did he save us a lot of money but he went beyond to provide exceptional care and understanding, and service to my older parents for a number of car maintenance needs. We feel very fortunate to have found a team of kind and honest folks, near my parents' home that will take great care of them. They have lived here for over 50 years, and they feel fortunate to have found James and this shop.

James is the best! Fast, friendly, professional, just very easy to like and trust.

Horrible customer service and quoted close to the max for simple repair that can be completed within the hour. service rep: Matt is rude and came across very aggressively before even getting checked in. Did not feel comfortable at all and had my car towed elsewhere. I cannot speak on how well the team works however I definitely didn't feel comfortable confirming any work to be done after the first few conversations.

Great experience, very professional, friendly, quick work, and helpful. They even saved me work on the car, showing me how some parts my dealership said needed to be replaced were actually still good, and so saved me a substantial amount. I highly appreciate their work and will be back soon

After taking my car into the dealership for mainly some computer issues (electrical?), along with repair of front passenger lock, brake issues and general servicing, I was shocked at the cost of these repairs. They also told me about an issue with my tailgate which had never shown a problem. A friend referred me to Affordable Auto and boy, am I glad! Never, have I ever had such great service on anything before meeting these guys. James paid such attention to detail and was extremely personable and attentive.

Everything was fixed and I feel like my 10 year old car is like brand new! With only 69,000 miles on it and the perfect auto repair place to take it to for service, I am so happy! And by the way, they checked and double checked the tail gate and found nothing wrong with it. Honesty abounds. And it truly IS "Affordable Auto Care."
