05/16/2022: Well damn. I just had my truck home for about a month and some asshole ran into it in the parking lot. It'll be off to V.I.P again soon.

VIP Collision Center -- is EXCELLENT! My daughter had just graduated from college, and we were leaving a graduation dinner at Portland City Grill. She backed her old 2003 4Runner into a post in the garage and pulled off the front bumper. This was on a Sunday (May 1st), and she was planning to drive her car back home a 700-mile drive on Tuesday (May 3rd). Monday (May 2nd), I went to a very well-known body shop in Portland, and they said, " We are scheduled out four months, and we can't get parts due to the Pandemic." I asked for some referrals, and they suggested VIP Collision Center.

At VIP, I met with Ed Stevens, repair estimator, and he had his production supervisor Val take a look who said, "bring it in this afternoon, and we will have it ready by noon on Tuesday." We brought the 2003 4Runner in Monday afternoon, and I got a call at 10 AM Tuesday that work was completed. Val, Ed, Laya, and others did an excellent job. VIP Collision Center is professional, friendly, and emphatic.

I was shocked at how reasonable they were and the value received for the fine work. Thank you, Ed, Val, Laya, and the VIP Collision Center Team. I have no hesitation recommending them given the value and quality.

I backed into my daughter's car and it created a minor dent but also obstructed the passenger side door. VIP was able to pop out the dent and fix the door for a inexpensive repair on an older car. Daughter is happy. Mom is happy. Bonus: they did this on a Monday morning in record time. Thanks all!

10 stars! Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish at VIP collision. An amazing group of people who are genuinely nice, professional, and care about their customers. My 2021 Honda CR-V sustained front end damage in a hit and run and I found out (too late) that my deductible on my insurance has been changed and was not going to cover the damage. VIP was the first (and only) place I contacted due to their amazing online reviews.

I can attest to the fact that the 5 stars they have on Yelp are 100% deserved. Val responded to my inquiry extremely quickly and managed to accurately quote my repair only on photos, and I ended up paying even less than the quote when all was said and done! Scheduling and drop off were extremely easy. I felt instantly valued by Laya and she was SO communicative, updating me every step of the way because she knew I was paying out of pocket for both the repair and rental car.

They gave me the option to glue or replace a part to try to save me money which was so kind. They had my car back to me in one week! It was actually ready in 5 days (dropped it off on a Monday and it was ready Friday evening) but I was working when it was completed so got it the following Monday. They brought me into the garage to look at everything and the car was perfect, better than it looked when I brought it in because they CLEANED it inside and out!

I have a dog and unfortunately she sheds a ton but when I got in my car at VIP I was blown away to see that they had cleaned the entire inside. The price I paid at pick up was less than I was quoted and they even gave me a bottle of touch up paint for future scratches/rock chips! Do not hesitate to take your car here if you are a nice, normal, reasonable person who appreciates kindness and craftsmanship! I live 30+ minutes away and will still go here in the future no matter what!

The team was super great to work with--timely communication and were willing to work with a budget. Great quality work too, I can barely tell anything happened to my car.

Everyone here is so skilled and great. Even got a dent fixed for free. Very responsive, fair, super nice and friendly and no BS. Cheaper then another place by $400. On time and over delivered. Highly recommend!

Leah helped me immensely, navigating the insurance paperwork smoothly when my little old car got rear ended!. I got a beautiful back bumper repair instead of a totaled work horse.

Got into a car accident nearby and got my car towed here. The staffs were very nice to work with. I was not knowledgeable about anything as it was my first accident, but staffs were helpful. I went through with my insurance here but when my insurance was being difficult to work with, the staffs were willing to help out. They are friendly to deal with and I would recommend anyone working with this collision center.

I work for lyft, and needed some minor body work done to pass my inspection. I made it clear time was pressing, and I was out of work until the fender linerrs in the front and the back rear were replaced. I was told the parts would take 8 days to arrive. After 2 weeks I called and was assured I hadn't been forgotten about. I reminded them i was unable to work still.

I was told they were waiting for rivets to arrive. A week later I called, and was told they had not arrived. I got the part # from them, and located it making only 2 phone calls, with a local company they already had an account with. It took me less than 5 minutes. I went and picked the parts up, and brought everything in. They fixed part of what I was asking for, and ignored the rest, which was a fender liner rubbing against a tire I had asked for them to replace.

I made it very clear, and showed them my lyft inspection, indicating exactly what I needed fixed. They were very rude and offered no help in fixing this issue. Take your care anywhere else. This place is a joke.

I could write a whole story, but it's not necessary. This shop does a really great job. Made my KIA Sorento look like new. Really nice people, fair pricing, top quality work and no BS. You won't go wrong choosing them. Ask for Lara and tell her Carl sent you. Brownie points are good if I have to go back there. My name is Carl E, and this is for real, honest, boy scouts honor.

Man oh man this place has been the kindest, quickest, and just overall amazing experience I've ever had in any kind of automotive business. I had a tow truck hit my car, and VIP was with me since Day 1 ensuring the entire process was streamlined and fair. I'd get consistent check-ins from Laya making sure insurance wasn't giving me the run around, tips, and status on repair. Couldn't recommend the place enough - and the repair was phenomenally done! Can't even tell what happened.

This was my first time ever dealing with an auto body shop in my 10 years as a driver and they made it seamless, transparent, and helped me quicker than other shops that had months + waiting time. Laya in the office was incredibly communicative and informative. Will be going back if I ever unfortunately need body work again!

I highly recommend this business, they did a wonderful job on my car after I scraped up the door and tire pretty severely. They ordered me a new door and had to repaint, fix my tire and wheel. Even though they were not contracted with my insurance and quoted me higher than my insurance's estimate, I did not have to pay more than my deductible and they assured me not to worry as they would handle the rest of this with my insurance directly. I feel comfortable that they would not over charge and that I can trust them. They returned my car looking fabulous and cleaned the inside as well!

I had a simple tail light to fix. Tried lots of places in Portland but they were charging me hundreds and hundreds of dollars, and didn't really want to fix it. VIP did it in a few days and charged me half the price. And they were a pleasure to work with!

I have lived in Portland for many decades, and regret to say that good customer service is getting harder and harder to find. When I went to VIP Collision for some scratches on my car, everyone was so friendly, kind, helpful, it was like 30 years ago again. :-D Seriously, I was treated so well, they did such a great job with my scratched car, that they now have my business forever. What a great experience, what awesome people.

Outstanding service. My son had knocked the right rear panel of our Prius off it's mounts while breaking some of the mounts in the process. The result is that our right rear panel would flap in the wind like a dog's tongue with its head out the window whenever we were traveling faster than 45 mph. I dropped in today for an estimate to fix the entire panel, not cheap.

But in the meantime the guys in the shop reattached the panel so that it doesn't flap in the wind. They did a really excellent job of this and it looks essentially new. When I went to pay, they waved me off. It was a small job that I lacked the know how, skills, and tools to accomplish but was for them a fairly simple thing to do, because they have all three. Way to build customer loyalty and they now have a customer for life. Thank you.

These guys are simply the best. Laya at the front is extremely kind and the owner ogi is very compassionate wise and dedicated to giving the best customer service possible. Their work on my car is incredible too. I'd never want anyone to get into accidents but this is the place to get your car repaired if that ever happens.

We took our car to VIP to repaint the hood and to get rid of a handful of dents and we were extremely impressed by the outcome. They were great at communicating with us and setting expectations correctly and the results completely exceeded our expectations. They have a decent amount of higher end cars that they work on in the shop.

My mechanic recommended this auto body shop to me. My car was rear ended and the cost was paid for by the other parties insurance. The customer service staff Laya did an incredible job in coordinating with the insurance company and rental car company. She made perfect arrangement and kept me in the loop. I'm very happy with their service.

I was in an accident back in January and needed some serious work done on my car. I came to them with my car issues and they took care of me more than I could have ever imagined! They were incredibly empathetic (I'm a therapist so this is huge for me), they got my car right in and immediately started working on it, they kept in contact with me throughout the entire process of what was getting finished or needed more time, and they worked with me on the cost-giving me cheaper routes or alternatives. Going back to them the next time my car needs some love!

From the first phone call to the return of our Honda CR-V VIP Collision's team was super professional. Laya and Ed took the time to take our phone calls as well as provide guidance before we brought the car in. The estimate was spot on and we were very happy with how they handled repairing and replacing some of the damaged body/trim/bumper of our car.

We were paying it all out of pocket and they listened to us when we said we didn't care much about the look but wanted a safe, fixed vehicle and they delivered. Damage was to our bumper, tire alignment, inner fender and they were able to get it all fixed up in ~7 days. By the way this was all during the crazy wildfire times in Portland and they did a great job at communicating and helping us get back on the road.

This place is amazing and has fantastic customer service. If you're looking for fast, kind, easy, and honest service, YOU GOT IT! Laya, the wonderful front office contact, makes dealing with insurance and communication painless. I was in a collision with a semi truck and VIP made the whole process EASY. My insurance tried to have me go to a chain collision center that was closed when I showed up for my appointment (ugh). I googled collision centers and VIP was open for an estimate within the hour, for free! Thank you VIP!

These folks are honest reliable and hardworking. They put in the effort to get me the best deal from my insurance company and save me as much as possible. My car came out looking gorgeous. Expedient, responsive and competent! They even detailed my car prior to returning it. They even gave us the remainder of the touch up paint for our vehicle, free of charge. Enterprise Rental will deliver and pick up rental cars right from the VIP Collision center. You can leave the rental keys with the VIP Collision front desk when you leave with your newly restored vehicle. We had a great experience.

I have never had to get my car fixed, or sort out a claim, but VIP Collision made it so easy and simple. I got a quote and Laya was able to talk through the process with me which was really helpful. They told me when they estimated it to be ready and it actually was! They also cleaned and detailed my car. Overall really happy with them and will definitely go back to them if I need anything else done with my car!

I don't think I actually wrote a review the first time I dropped my car here. I had someone bash my Audi S4 bumper, dropped it at VIP and it came out looking perfect. They are so awesome, I'm going back for an additional repair on a door. Great service, very friendly people. Highly recommend.
