Have been bringing my vehicles there for years and always had a top notch experience. Unfortunately, not the case the last time. My X5 was brought in for a second opinion regarding a check engine light and they diagnosed a problem different from the dealership. Replaced fuel tank breather valve ($$) and also had them replace both batteries and do state inspection and emissions.

A week or two later, check engine light came back on and had to make a second appointment where they replaced an insulation valve ($$). A week or two later, check engine came back on and made an appointment where they said one of those two new parts was bad and had to be replaced, which they did at no charge. Shortly thereafter, learned that one or both of those replacements would have been covered under a bmw extended warranty.

When I informed Bimmerworks of this, they said they are typically up to date on service bulletins and would normally stop work and have customer bring the vehicle to a dealership in type of situation. However, they were not aware of this and would check with BMW. Received an email from the owner saying BMW told him one of the parts would be covered and they would submit a claim for reimbursement.

Two weeks later, I received a letter from BMW denying the reimbursement since it was done at a outside repair shop and they would have covered it if the repair was done at a dealership. Called numerous times throughout this process to discuss with the owner and never received a callback. Also had to bring the vehicle back an additional time because they forgot to replace the inspection and emissions stickers. Again, this is only one bad experience out of many really good ones here, but still disappointing.

Top shelf experience. Had a major coolant system issue that needed to be identified and fixed on my X5. It was an easy process. Dropped off the car. Within the day I received a call with the diagnosis and a follow up email with a very detailed price breakdown for the repair. I made the decision to move forward with the repair. Once I picked up the car, I received a follow up email with the specific breakdown for the various parts and labor showing associated pricing for each. It was a very transparent and smooth process. Bimmerworks was recommended to me by a co-worker - now I can highly recommend them as well.

Authorized Dinan dealer, they took great care of my E39 M5. Definitely a shop you can trust with your toys.

You want an expert on your BMW or European vehicle at a fair price? I trust every single one of mine here. They have absolutely nailed it even when 2 trips to the dealership couldn't fix it. I dropped it of just telling them I had a problem, they called me back when they said they would with an update, when they found the issue I explained to them about the other visits to the dealer and they explained their findings and why this repair is the proper fix. Now they earned all my vehicles. This is a private shop ran by an honest guy, thank you so much. Hey Jess you were an absolute delight to work with! Great staff.

I was referred to Bimmerworks by my trusted mechanic who was unable to detect my BMW's engine related issue. Once my car was diagnosed at Bimmerworks the owner, Steve Snow, called me immediately to discusss the issue in detail as well as repair cost and also to provide me with a complimentary loaner car until my car was repaired. When I picked my repaired car Steve met with me and was incredibly helpful spending quality time reviewing everything.

They were on time, young ladies at the desk were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Loved that the shop actually looked like a shop. Mechanics were friendly, allowed me to ask questions and were personable. I always like when a shop floor is exposed to the customer and you can see the work they are performing. Plus it's always nice checking out all the other BMW's on the lot to get some future performance ideas. I liked the products they were using for the services I had performed. It was my first time there. I'll definitely go back.
