DO NOT GO HERE. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. I took my car in for a mechanical issue and by the time I picked it up they charged me with hundreds of dollars for parts I did not need. Even worse, the mechanical issue with my car was not fixed and was given back in worse condition. My car continued to overheat (after my third time bringing the car to be fixed extremely frustrated) and eventually shut down and started to smoke in the middle of shelbyville rd.
Today I had the car towed from their shop to another mechanic which now had to replace my engine due to the damages. Medleys gave AAA THE WRONG CAR! Careless errors. These guys do no know what they are doing.

Had a Groupon for a BASIC oil change for $36. They informed me right away that there would be an extra charge of $18 and when I asked why I was told that the basic oil change is only for $36. Nobody said anything about that this was the extra charge for the Synthetic oil, nor did they asked if I even approved or wanted that! Not the most trustworthy place for a woman to get her car done

My car at slow speed or idling was vibrating, another tire shop couldn't Diagnose and my mechanic was extremely busy. Called them they said bring over, I left with them, instead of calling to state issues and they order parts and pass costs of too you which are expensive. I stated that I have a lifetime warranty on that part and they said we can do a 2 year warranty. 2 year or lifetime.
Also had a hose that caused air pressure that cracked warranty part in the 1st place, they glued on. I asked to go where part was under warranty. They seemed upset. I went to shop that switched out with no problem also changed air hose, instead of glue cause it was still hanging off and I went less than 5 miles from them. DO NOT USE them crooked.

Brought my car in for their advertised $54.00 headlamp cleaning. The quality of the results was way off. The lenses were still very foggy looking. I spoke with the manager and he said that was the best they could do. I requested a refund so I could take it to another place to get it done correctly. He got very angry. At first he refused to refund but after further discussions he did give me one-half the cost. He basically through the money at me and made it clear to leave now.

I had the water pump fail spectacularly in my truck and needed it repaired in a hurry. I already had the part (I intended on doing it myself, but the rain killed that), but needed it installed that day. I called them, took it right over before noon and had it back in running order by 3:30. Reasonably priced, especially for this end of town, and super fast turn around. If I have anything else beyond my abilities, or that I just don't wait to undertake, I will be back.

$130 for a diagnostic test for a slightly stalling 2015 vehicle and they did not communicate the price beforehand and when I stated there to pick up my vehicle, was told would be 30 to 45 minutes to even get the vehicle down and ready. My mom recommended this place and after today we will be taking our business elsewhere. The son had an unpleasant attitude from the genesis. Wish I would have followed my gut and walked out but lesson learned and now warning others not to follow suit otherwise you will regret it.

Couldn't recommend more highly! Yesterday while driving across the country with my family to return home to North Carolina, our battery died. I called multiple shops and no one had availability. The guys at Medley's were compassionate and were able to take care of me quickly after the tow truck brought the car to the shop. They were kind and got our family back on the road within 30 minutes. Second time I've gone to them to plug a tire. First time I was told that the screw/hole was too close to the side of the tire and I needed to replace it. So I did. This go around? Same thing. Discount tire's website lists that you can plug any tire within a half inch of the side wall. This hole is almost three inches to the side. 2 5/8 inches to be exact. (See the picture below.) The guy told me, "I'm not trying to sell you a tire." I didn't say that, but he felt it was necessary to tell me that. If they do this for $150 tire replacement, I can't imagine what they do for mechanical issues.

I saw some negative reviews here and wanted to at least share my story. I had a potential $2000 repair coming for my Jeep Grand Cherokee (dealer quote). I called Medley's and instead of trying to get me to come in and give me the run around, they gave me a free bit of advice and my problem was solved. You can imagine how thankful I am! Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience as it's tough to know who you can trust sometimes.

I was referred to Medleys by AAA since my car needed repair. I was told by AAA that I could get a 25% discount since they partner with Medleys. When contacting Medleys, they said I could get 10% up to 50 dollars. That's not even the bad part. So Medleys tells me I need I need an air compressor, serpentine belt, and alternator. 2300 dollars! I even went online and looked up the prices for those parts for my car and they totaled up to being 250 bucks.
So they would be charging me for over 2000 bucks for labor! I had another shop charge me 600 for the same procedure. THAT IS ROBBERY! Do your research. I am so glad I did not go with this shop.

My car's Maintenance Required light has been on for a while, when it stayed on instead of flashing I thought I'd better take it for an oil change to Medley's. As always, I was treated pleasantly and everyone was very nice. When my car was being checked, one of the mechanics came out and said I had plenty of oil and it was clean, I didn't need anything done.
I asked about the light and was told that they manually had to turn it off (I also read this on a Scion website, so it's true). They brought my car around and I was on my way, I was not charged for anything. Now they could have done nothing, said the oil was changed and charged me, but they were honest and professional. This is really a good place and I will continue to bring my car to them.

I was referred here by the folks at Jiffy Lube down the street when I needed my car checked out. The folks at Medley's are friendly, fair, and considerate of your time. They were able to get my issue figured out and were reasonable about price. I went back with a brake light issue and they were able to help out then too. There have been some groupons floating around for oil changes, and I've utilized that as well. It is definitely worth the price to do it.

I previously had an awful experience with a repair I needed on another shop. I just got to Medley's because I read previous reviews, since I am new in town. In 20 minutes my problem was fixed, and I was charged 5 times less than the previous shop wanted to charge me. I can say these guys are efficient, honest and definitely know what they are doing.
