I have known Kevin and Fonda since 2014. They are awesome and super friendly. They keep good communication with their customers, and are honest and dependable. I only trust Kevin and his crew work on my truck. I would recommend them to anyone who needs service or maintenance.

Kevin Payes is very professional and incredibly knowledgeable his shop redid everything on the front end of my 1989 dodge dakota and did my Exhaust system my Dakota Handel's better than when it was new and my new exhaust system sounds great I truly believe if you use Payes Automotive you will be incredibly satisfied with his honesty and thoroughness

I needed an alignment due to uneven tire wear. Great service, great price, and very knowledgeable. Will be getting all my future business for my automotive needs. Update 8/26/21. Cylinder 1 misfire in my truck. Diagnosed a worn cam lobe. Got my truck back today and it's a beast again! Thank you Kevin and gang!

Wanted to charge me $250 to diagnose my car.then when I walked in with tiger customer that recommended me they didn't ask for the money. seemed kinda shady.

Honest, good pricing and high quality work. what more could you ever want from a mechanic? So I am a LONG time shade tree mechanic. I've only taken cars to shops begrudgingly. I have a 1967 Ford Mustang project car that was kicking my butt. I hurt my back and couldn't finish it. Enter Kevin at Payes Automotive. I asked them to repair a few items and while they had the car go over it and let me know what it needs.

They did what I asked, gave me a list of optional repairs and prices (which I had them complete). Grand total was extremely fair, work is exceptional quality and car runs and drives better than it ever has before. Top that all off by the fact that Kevin and his staff are extremely polite and kind. I drove car home, happy and smiling the whole way.

Then my phone rang. It was Kevin. Checking to be sure I was happy with the work and car, reminding me that all work they performed comes with a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. Unreal customer service. I've never said I would take a car back or refer people to a mechanic before now. But Payes Automotive earns my referal and will earn my future business as I need it.

I have used Payes Automotive twice now for some big repairs to mu cars. The service is amazing! Kevin and his staff are kind and honest. They diagnosed the problems quick and accurate and the repairs were flawless. Keven gave me options to try to keep cost down which was so helpful. I recommend Payes Automotive to anyone in need of car service.

Kevin and his team will take care of you, dedicated and honest service. They let you know what is wrong, quickly. In addition they will inform you of needed maintenance, to prevent future problems. I went to this mechanic because they had a high Yelp rating and am very pleased to continue their winning streak! They squeezed me in same day, had great customer service (which is rare), fixed the issue I brought it in for, and exceeded my expectations!

Great customer service. Kevin and his staff have a genuine passion for cars and they devote an equal amount of effort into the customer service side. Most any shop can "fix" a car, but they often skimp on the customer service. You can tell that Payes Automotive cares not only about your car, but also about you. Kevin and his team excel at both and really make the whole repair process as seamless as can be. Would recommend.

I met Kevin a little over a year ago. He started working on my Mustang GT/Roush. We've been having problems getting a clutch to last more than a couple thousand miles. Too much power on the top end. The good thing about Kevin is, he will take the time to problem solve for you. Honest is his middle name. Getting ready to have another clutch/flywheel installed. Also, going to have him upgrade my MT82 trans using the Stage 3 upgrade kit.

This upgrades the factory 23 spline to a 26 spline with hd gears in the front. Lastly, we need to upgrade the slave cylinder. Hopefully this will work. I wouldn't even consider anyone else for this job.

Payes Automotive is the best auto repair shop I've used! I have had my oil changed here as well as having my brake pads replaced. They are very ethical and do meticulous work. My husband was always wanting to do our own car maintenance until we found Payes Automotive. Kevin and his staff also give insight as to the problems or issues they are working on and the solution they are providing. Payes Automotive will always work on our cars! Why would I drive 40mi to Payes Automotive in Phoenix? Because I know I'm going to be taken care of! I do not know Kevin Payes super well but I am somewhat of a family friend. He and his wife would likely dispute the "somewhat of a family friend" statement because of their friendly and caring natures. My story is this: My car broke down in California about 4hrs from Phoenix.

I was towed to a dealership and told I would need a new transmission at the cost of $4,000.00. I called Kevin and his wife Fonda for some simple advice. He told me "That sounds kind of strange to me Chris?" Followed by: "If you want, I can come out there and tow you back for the cost of fuel and see if we can save you some money because it just doesn't sound right." Kevin and his wife came out to get me for the price of fuel! (who does that!).which incidentally is more than the cost of the repair which was a gasket on the transmission!

I asked Kevin to do more to my 03 Honda Odyssey so the total charged is high but less than $700.00. The true total repairs came to $150.00 plus about $200.00 for towing. Well, that's not near the $4,000.00I could be out of today. Kevin, Fonda and the great mechanics at Payes Automotive. Thank you for your time. Your time to be honest and upfront with your customers.

Your time to explain and tell your customers what absolutely needs to be fixed, what doesn't, what can be fixed later and what will save us, (your customers money). I'll always come back! Kevin and the team at Payes Automotive are fantastic. The thought of taking my car into "the shop" to get work on it used to be a scary proposition. Their motto of "replace only what is needed" is really true. They will tell you what needs to be done now and what we need to keep an eye on in the future. They really do go the extra mile. I was very impressed by these guys. They spent a lot of time making sure they got the diagnosis right and when they gave me the bill, I was surprised at how inexpensive it was. I'm new to the west valley, so it is great to find a trustworthy mechanic already.

Called to speak to Kevin but had the pleasure of speaking to a guy named Buddy. He was no help and best he could do was say that Kevin will be in on Friday? Buddy had near to no customer service skills. I'm glad I realized this before I took my car there.

Kevin is very honest and his shop does the best work. We continue to return to Payes Automotive anytime we need anything and will continue to do so. We recommend this shop to everyone! You won't find another you can trust like it.

I can't say enough good things about payes automotive. we recently relocated to the phoenix area and finding a good, honest and upfront mechanic can be hard. we are so happy with kevin and his shop. if you are looking for an honest mechanic, fair pricing and someone to take good care of your car, look no further. we won't go anywhere else but payes!

Kevin and his crew were able to get my car (Honda Del Sol) in on short notice, and had it done early the same day. A "Big Box" shop not far from there tried to tell me it needed a radiator, thermostat and hoses to remedy the sudden cause of overheating. Not trusting that diagnosis I called Kevin with Payes Automotive to see if I could get his opinion before I authorize a repair, and also told him I would prefer he do the work anyhow, since he had done a great job for me in the past.

Sure enough he was able to just do the thermostat, and hoses are just maintenance of course that needed to be replaced. My care did NOT need a radiator like the other place told me. It's been 3 months and the car is still running strong with no hiccups. The moral of the story is Payes Automotive is quick fair and honest. Saving me hundreds of dollars and I was back on the road in no time. I had been to Payes in the past, now with this recent experience, I will not go anywhere else. I encourage you to give them a chance to earn your business too.

We have been working with Kevin and his company for fixing some of Tru Cab and Tru Limo's vehicles for over a year now. He does excellent work and is very reasonable on pricing and has been known to even work weekends to get our vehicles fixed to get back on the road ASAP. His facility is a bit far from us but he is that good that we will send our vehicles over there for repairs when we are unable to do them ourselves. I've heard great things about his fleet program as well but due to their location it's tough for us to send cabs out there for oil changes, but if his location is even somewhat convenient for you I would recommend to give him a shot.

Kevin and his team are up front, honest and do great work. I have had issues with vehicles that nobody else seem to be able to fix, that kevin was able to find and solve in no times. I would recommend anyone that is looking for good honest work to go to this shop. As good as it gets.

Awesome guys, (and gals). I am a neighboring shop and anytime i need anything or have a question they help without question. the shop is always busy and i've only heard good things from their customers. Kevin is a really nice guy.

Kevin Payes is an automotive genius. He is up front honest and fair. He got me in same day and finished the work by the time I got back from the runners expo. I told him I didn't have enough time and he said he would work on it as soon as they got the parts. By the time I dropped the car off he said the parts were already on their way and as soon as they arrived he would work on the car! Like I said, superior work, reasonable price, great guy! If I didn't live in California, Kevin would definitely be my mechanic! Kudos to Kevin and the whole shop.

I was referred by a friend to this shop and it was a great experience. Kevin is honest and only takes care of what needs to be done while giving you updates along the way. My local oil change shop mentioned that my front and rear brakes needed to be replaced, so I had planned on getting a second opinion and having the work done elsewhere. After inspection, Kevin told me the rear brakes still had a lot of life left on them and only needed a cleaning and adjustment. It is people like this that will keep me coming back. Thanks! Brad

The folks at Payes Automotive are HONEST, FAIR and extremely KIND. I have an 03 Nissan Pick up Truck and my power steering fluid was leaking. He actually showed me where the leak was coming from and what needed to be fixed before giving me a fair price and doing the work. I went to Pep Boys and they wanted to charge me double the amount of $$ to get my truck fixed.
